Sandwiches

I have done some research and these are all apparently genuine sandwiches you can buy, Chocolate Spread and Cheese, Pineapple and Mayonnaise, Marshmallow and Bacon, Crisps and Ice Cream! I have seen this one myself in Pret at Stanstead, Salmon, Rhubarb and Rocket, any you fancy for Sunday, or should I do the usual? Happy to receive any sandwich combinations you like!

Yes it is a burger between chocolate cakes!

Captains Log Star Date 25-05-2015

Great game, although we only had 8 which included Ajmal’s friend who didn’t even know what cricket was!

Our team comprised of, me Paul, Ajmal, Tom, Kamran, Justin, Kevin, and Ail.
Opposition, Shakhil, Hamza, Shani, Arif, Anis, Saeed, Malik, Kamran, Rashid, Ali, Arshad

I won the toss, strange I know, and set about batting first, we managed 120 off 20 overs with scores of 68* for me and paul with 14 and tom with 6 and Ajmal 0 and Justin & Kamran with 4 a piece.

They managed to chase down the score in the 18th over. we only had 8 in the field though so not a bad result really.

2 wickets for Kamran and Paul, and one each for Tom and Kevin, good game, enjoyed by all, we just need to be able to put out a full side.

Mansle vs St Aulaye

Mansle batted first and reached 60-2, unfortunately after that we collapsed in typical Mansle fashion and were bowled out for 108, Gaz got 51. St Aulaye chased down the total in 20 overs, but it was a lot closer than you would think, with only 16 needed to win with 6 wickets in hand, Mansle then took 4 quick wickets leaving St Aulaye needing 2 with 2 wickets left, Suki then skied one and Ajmal was unable to hold on to the difficult chance. We certainly gave them a run for their money, but our batting let us down again.

Thanks to roving reporter Tom for this match report.

Eymet vs Mansle

Eymet batted first and put on 223, Freddie, Arif, and Gaz bowled really well, Mike, Ajmal and Kashif not so well. Nigel got 100 for Eymet, but he wasn’t dropped on 0 this year! We took our easy catches but dropped all the half chances.

When we batted their bowling was very accurate, Gaz went for 6 after a poorly hit cut shot, Fred was out but luckily it was a no ball, Paul was bowled for not very many and Mike was caught at fine leg for a couple. At one point I think we were 34 for 1 after 20 overs. Fred was in for 27 overs and scored 14. Then Ajmal went in and changed it a bit, he hit 60 something, Andy hit 27, and Tom was 21 not out but Justin was ran out at the end. We finished on 171-7 which we felt was very respectable.

Match Report thanks to Tom.
